Your bronze looks like gold. Why is that?
We use a proprietary bronze blend that closely mimics the color of 18k yellow gold. I have chosen this particular blend because of the color and beauty. Therefore, it costs a little bit more to create the pieces.

What is bronze?
Bronze is composed of copper and tin. If you have an allergy to either of these metals, I wouldn’t suggest you wear it.

My finger turned black! Why is that?
This can happen when someone wears bronze. It’s not an allergic reaction but a
chemical reaction due to your skin PH. This is a temporary reaction and can easily be washed off with warm soapy water. It can be inhibited by putting a clear coat of nail polish where the skin comes into contact with the jewelry, ie the inside of a ring. It will need to be reapplied as it wears off.

How do I care for my jewelry?
Use a polishing cloth designed for silver and other metals. We sell a wonderful polishing cloth in our store. Or you can use a mild jewelry cleaner, however it is not recommended to use liquid cleaners on gemstones.

I lost an earring! Can I get a replacement? What is the cost?
Yes! We will sell any current earring at ½ the price for a pair. Just contact us. help@chikahisastudio.com

What is your return policy?
We have a 14 day return/exchange policy.
Exchanges are FREE.
Returns are EASY.
Note: If you have a piece that was marked FINAL SALE or made for you as a CUSTOM REQUEST it can not be returned. 
For all other approved returns, the shipping fees & package protection costs associated with your original order & all shipping return costs are non-refundable. Any unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Yes! I do customize most of my current designs for size, choice of gemstone, type of finish or metal choice. If you have a request for custom work just email us at:

Is it possible to customize a piece of jewelry? I’d like to substitute the
diamond for another gemstone.

How do you ship?
We ship both USPS and UPS (both provide tracking). Note: the default shipping option includes Insurance at Full Value of your product order for an additional fee of 1%. Using this, we will take full responsibility & ensure you receive your entire order. Should you choose to delete this Insurance, we will not be responsible for any lost shipments & you will be responsible for making a carrier claim.

How quickly can I expect my order?
If something is in stock, it will generally ship out in 5-7 business days. Out of stock items can be 2-4 weeks.

I’m not sure about my ring size?

No problem! There is an easy to use & very accurate ring sizer that you can order on the website.

Can I exchange my ring if it’s not the right size?

I’m allergic to nickel. Can I wear bronze?
Yes. Bronze is copper and tin.

What is the black metal that you use?
The black metal is oxidized silver. A special chemical is put on to create the reaction that turns the metal black. It will wear over time and may need to be touched up. You can contact us to re-oxidized your piece at no charge.

I bought a necklace from you and it got caught on something and
broke. Can you repair it?
Of course!  Depending on what needs to be repaired, there may be a small charge.  Each repair will be evaluated and cost determined at that time.
